Device Redesign

This soundbar redesign project takes an existing design, the NS-SBAR sound system, and reimagines the user interface with an improved and tested design. Previously, the soundbar user had to memorize a complicated color coded light system to connect their devices to the soundbar — in the reworked version, a light grid is used to communicate use states. I made a low fidelity mockup of the soundbar and soundbar remote redesign, which was then tested by my classmates. I used the information gathered in those tests to revise my design and remove confusing steps wherever possible.
